Futon
Mattress Foam Pillows Beds Memory
Several types of Futon mattress foam are currently available
to manufacturers. Latex foam in varying degrees of natural,
viscoelastic or temperature responsive foam, and a product
called Reflex foam made by Foamex, are hot right now. Futon
makers, attempting to soften the firmness level of the basic
cotton futon, added a layer or two of medium to high density
1.5 PCF to 2.0 PCF polystyrene futon mattress foam. Some have
opted to use flat panels of foam while others are using convoluted
or egg-crate foam. The overall weight is lowered by 10 to 20 pounds, depending on
the mattress size. The level of flexibility is lower than
the all cotton futon.
The rigidity
of futon mattress foam is excellent. It is
perfect for a bi-fold sofa-bed application because there is
no sagging. The firmness level is medium firm. As a retailer,
it is important to know the density of the foam in the mattress
as well as how much foam is used.

A premium
foam is both lightweight and long lasting. It is an excellent
all-around choice for both seating and sleeping comfort. It is used for a comfortable step-up futon for
bifold frames. Futon mattress foam guarantee to relieve pressure
and reduce tossing and turning. It has cover
which is Breathable, Removable, washable and Dust mite and
allergy resistant.
There
are two primary kinds of Futon mattress foam - conventional
and high resilience. Conventional foams have densities that
range from 1.0 lbs per cubic foot to 2.25 lb/ft3 and HR foam
ranges from 2.0 lb/ft3 to 4.0 lb/ft3. The density is a weight for a given volume is not a measure
of firmness, but rather a measure of support. By adjusting
the blowing agents different levels of firmness can be created
for the same density of foam. Nevertheless, density and firmness
do tend to parallel one another, and so typically, HR foams
have been chosen for support, while conventional foams were
chosen for comfort. The "better" mattresses
may then have foams of increasing density.
